What is an operational audit?
An operational audit is a structured look at how work actually moves through your business: how orders, payments, stock and reports are handled today, where time is lost to manual work, and which systems would remove those bottlenecks. Glala Studios runs it as an on-site walkthrough with your team, then gives you a workflow map, a bottleneck report and a system roadmap.
Why start with an audit instead of building software straight away?
Because the right answer is not always new software. Sometimes it's connecting the tools you already have, automating a few steps, or training the team on a system they already pay for. The audit tells you which, before you spend money on code.
Do I need custom software or an off-the-shelf tool?
It depends on how your business works. Off-the-shelf tools suit standard processes; custom systems suit businesses whose way of working is their advantage, or that need M-Pesa, WhatsApp and their own records joined up. The audit's roadmap recommends one or the other, with the reasons and the cost of each.
Is the audit free?
The first discovery call is free. The audit itself is a paid piece of work, quoted for your business after that call, because it involves time on site with your team and a written report and roadmap you keep whether or not you build with us.
